Hi, I’m Erin Goldman, a children’s author, educator, and mom who believes stories can help children find courage, build confidence, and navigate life’s little and big moments. With a master’s degree in Literacy from the State University of New York and over 20 years of experience working with children, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful stories can support emotional growth and create connections.

My debut picture book, Ollie: A Little Owl’s First Flight, was inspired by my daughter and her journey toward courage and confidence through new beginnings. Through Ollie’s story, I hope to remind young readers that it’s okay to feel uncertain, that trying something new takes courage, and that they are capable of more than they realize.

Through Little Reading Nest, I share stories and experiences that encourage self-belief, emotional growth, and a lifelong love of books. I especially love bringing stories to life through school visits, library storytimes, and community events.
